Manteca
Manteca is a typical dairy specialty of our territory, not easy to find. It arises from the ancient need to preserve butter in the absence of a refrigerator. It is a scamorza paste wrapped around a bunch of butter with a sweet taste and ochre color.
Excellent spread on breads and bakery products of various types, you can enjoy it accompanied by salted anchovies, but also in combination with grilled vegetables and dried tomatoes.
