Among the wooded areas of Volturara Appula that is called Bosco di Sant'Antonio occupies a large portion of the southern slopes of Mount Orlando.
It is a vast forest complex of broadleaf trees placed in continuity with the woods that gravitate around Mount Sambuco. The area is rich in water and equipped trails, and is home to an interesting flora and fauna.
In the area called Difesa dei Corvi there are sulphurous springs, while the nearby stream Gianpaolo is characterized by several waterfalls.
