Information
Composed mainly of oaks, oaks and oaks, it is characterized by the presence of a thick undergrowth, which in spring lights up of the primroses, bucanevi and orchids blooms. The area is home to many animal species such as foxes, badgers, wild boar and wolves, but also many birds of prey, including buzzards and owls. Crossed by paths that allow you to make beautiful excursions, on foot and on horseback, the forest is also equipped with areas for rest, such as that of the Chapels, in whose surroundings you can park. Not far away, in Orto di Zolfo, is the Forest Nursery.
