Information
Admiring the landscape from one of the belvederi that from the village look to the east, the first thing that strikes the eye of the viewer is a wide expanse of forest. It is the Bosco Difesa that covers the slopes of Colle Servigliuccio and dominates the Celone Valley and the stretch of Frassati Path between Celle di San Vito and Castelluccio Valmaggiore. The broad-leaved wood sees an arboreal prevalence of oaks and oaks and it hosts a numerous and diversified fauna: wolves, foxes, badgers, martens and wild boars among the mammals; while the proximity of the river Celone makes you find specimens of birds typical of the humid environments, such as woodcock and horseman of Italy.
