Information
The name Paduli most likely derives from the presence of small wetlands, flooded, and temporary that are formed because of streams that descend into the wood from Mount Tre Titoli. The forest has a thick and almost pure vegetation of oaks (oaks and oaks). There are also many centuries-old specimens, in particular in the central area of the forest where there is a wide clearing characterized by the presence of a vast meadow and where there is the oldest oak of Puglia. Here there is the only acoustic concert outside the Kermesse "Accadia Blues", called "Music under the tree".
The fauna that inhabits the area consists of numerous birds of prey, such as buzzards, owl, owl, owl, owl, kestrel and kite; while the mammals present are the fox, the badger, the wild boar and the wolf.
The natural area offers the possibility to carry out various activities, such as trekking and horse riding, thanks to the network of equipped trails. The presence of numerous springs makes the excursions even more exciting.
