The architectural complex, of neoclassical style, adorned with pilasters both in the pillars of the entrance and in the facade, is formed by narthex, compartment-church and sacristy.
We know that the religious building dates back to 1802 and that it was originally registered to Saint Peter thanks to the inscription on the entrance portal which reads in Latin: "This little church, built for the deep devotion of Mr Pietro Cotoia on an area of own property and embellished with sacred objects, is dedicated to the prince of the apostles. And therefore for the worship of the faithful and for their insistent request is placed in this place the statue carved with the name of S.Pietro. Year 1802".
The church is accessed from the courtyard in front, whose charming entrance is formed by two beautiful white stone pillars with large volutes; on the walls that delimit the courtyard from the overlooking street are symmetrical two four-lobed openings. The facade is on two levels; the first is divided by four pilasters in stone of the Doric order and has at its center a stone portal with engraved architrave and crowning pediment decorated; the second has two pilasters of the Corinthian order and an ovoid window.
The single-chamber interior houses the statue of Saint Peter and the remains of the physician Don Flavio Procaccino.
