Information
The Minor Church of the SS. Trinità was built in 1720, under the episcopate of Mons. Angelo Ceraso.
The exterior is very simple and presents as a single element of decoration a beautiful stone portal, while in a secluded position stands a bare bell tower sail. Inside there is a refined historiato of the SS. Trinità, and an altarpiece of 1716 painted in Naples by the Lucan Salvatore Ferrari, inspired by the works of the most famous Solimena, an artist who anticipated the dictates of the pictorial art of the late '700. In 1980 the interior of the church was completely renovated, the walls were frescoed by the painter Enzo Liberti.
In the past this place has also performed the task of a hospital for the poor: this is due to its appearance and the presence of 4 rooms for the reception of the poor.
