Information
Erected in 1703, the Church has a Baroque facade in stone and bricks that at the ends of the same draw two pseudo bell towers in correspondence of the graceful bell towers. The presence on the right side of the church, the one not leaning against other buildings, of powerful buttresses, suggests that the construction may have taken place by incorporating the remains of a previous building. The interior has a single nave and near the high altar are placed two epigraphs in memory of the consecration of the Church occurred in 1717 by Cardinal Orsini, bishop of Benevento. Here are kept the precious eighteenth-century altarpieces depicting "the Virgin Crowned between the Saints Donato Bishop and Filippo Neri" and "the Blood Shed". You can also admire the wooden statue of the Madonna made by the sculptor Di Zinno.
