Information
The building dates back to the 12th century and was originally dedicated to San Domenico Abate, a hermit and thaumaturge who lived in the 11th century in Sora. The current denomination of the Holy Spanish preacher and popularizer of the Rosary dates back to the seventeenth century and the will of the Dominican Friars.
The religious building is admired thanks to a beautiful stone facade, characterized by the presence of a small central rose window and a lovely portal. On the top of the hut you can see an elegant bell tower. The interior has a single nave, enriched by several works of historical and artistic interest, such as the medieval stone altar, the canvas of the Virgin of Pompeii and the statues of San Domenico, dell'Addolorata and Sant'Agnese Martire.
