Information
Its origins can be traced back to the late 16th century. Built at the behest of Prince Carlo Gambacorta, the church was restructured and enlarged around the middle of the eighteenth century.
The exterior is simple, linear and has as its only decorative element a beautiful Baroque stone portal. On the left side stands, in a vaguely overhanging position, a mighty stone bell tower with a clock. The interior houses two chapels dedicated to the SS. Rosary and SS. Body of Christ. Very interesting from a historical and artistic point of view is the Altarpiece depicting the Madonna made by mannerist Pasquale Cati, painter of Marche origin.
