Walking in the pine forest of the hill of San Rocco you can admire one of the buildings most loved by the inhabitants of Candela: the Church of San Rocco, guardian of one of the relics of the Saint, rebuilt in 1930. This delightful structure has a neo-Romanesque facade that frames a massive portal. On it since 1934 stands an admirable mosaic in neo-Byzantine style with gold inserts depicting the Saint, a precious gift of the Marchioness Antoinette Ciampolillo. Inside there is an interesting stoup in stone, of the eighteenth century, coming from the original building, the sacred and a relic of San Rocco.
