Information
The building was born in 1664 extra moenia and with abadial dignity for the commitment of the priest Sebastian Sangiorgi and only in 1759 was incorporated into the urban fabric.
The exterior of the church in Abruzzo Romanesque style is quite peculiar: it has a stone facade characterized by an offset of the entrance compared to the external line of the façade, thanks to the presence of a large round vault. The interior preserves an altarpiece with the Virgin and Child, and images of Saint Catherine, Saint Peter Martyr. At the center of the chapel is the noble burial of the Jacobini family.
