If it were not for the votive shrine with the image of San Filippo Neri placed on the facade and the overhanging small bell tower sail, you would not say to be in front of a church.
The civic origin of the building, which was a home until 1623, when the owner archpriest Don Sante De Santis gave it to the Rosetani, is denounced by the presence of a balcony, from which every 26 May, for the celebrations in honor of the saint, bread and vegetables are thrown. This ancient tradition found its reason for being in the will to guarantee even the destitute a meal on the day of the feast of the patron saint of the village, whose statue is kept in this small and unique church.
