Information
Lake Pescara is about 40,000 square metres deep and has a maximum depth of 6 metres. Without natural emissaries, its waters are fed by springs and streams formed after precipitation and after the melting of snow.
The body of water shows a rich vegetation and, in the summer, its surface is covered with the floating leaves of the potamogeton natens and myriophyllum, accompanied here and there by the white flowers of the water ranunculus; the lake is also an excellent ecosystem for the life and reproduction of fish species such as carp, barbel, chub and bleak.
Nearby you can stay surrounded by nature. The bubble room is a mini pop-up house, with partly transparent walls and ceiling; it is a turning point for the concept of overnight stay in nature. The alternative is the atom: a tent suspended between the trees. Both are managed by the Cooperative of Biccari Community.
