Among all the fountains that, perhaps, tells better than others a peasant world that there is no more, is the public wash house that meets at the entrance of the village.
The white stone construction, stands in a widening that opens along Via Fontanelle; it is a parallelepiped in light stone with angles marked by square blocks uniform, in front of which insists a large pool, while on the sides in a symmetrical position there are two twin washbasins. The spring has been for decades the fulcrum of the social life of the village, especially for women, who before the advent of running water in the houses went daily here for laundry.
