When finally at the end of the nineteenth century a primitive water network was built, several public fountains. In a purely rural society where the houses were not provided with running water these elements were indispensable and very popular. Here we went for the water supply related to domestic needs, to wash the clothes, to water the pets and by burden. These are therefore interesting artefacts from an architectural point of view, which tell us about a rural society that has disappeared and its customs, signs of economic and social dynamics.
Very beautiful is the Fountain of Via Salita Torre, built in 1897, has a brick facade divided into three areas by pilasters in white stone ashlar; it is equipped with three cannulas for water supply and as many collection trays, with the largest central one.
The Fountain of Piazza Marconi was built in 1872 in ashlar stone and has the facade divided into 5 sections by pilasters; it has three jets in masks that merge the water into a single oval basin.
The so-called "Piscero" is finally configured as a public wash-house and is very interesting from an architectural point of view: the pool collecting water, very long, is protected by a sort of elbow tunnel, very narrow, and is protected by a cross vault.
