From its summit, also characterized by pastures, you can admire the wonderful landscape of the Monti Dauni. Numerous paths and trails mark the nature that dresses the mountain.
In winter it takes on the special appeal of the soft snow that envelops its top. During the summer you can enjoy the nature that blooms, blackthorns, brooms, hawthorns and annual and perennial herbaceous vegetation; strong presence of orchids. Different species of animals frequent the woods of the mountain, from wolves to numerous diurnal raptors.
In addition to the natural charm, the mountain has a strong religious interest, as a place, in ancient times, the appearance of the Madonna del Carmine. In memory of this extraordinary event, on the southern side, in the countryside of Accadia was built in the fourteenth century. a Sanctuary, near which there is a pleasant grove and a fresh spring. The north-eastern slopes instead welcome in the countryside of Panni the Sanctuary dedicated to the Madonna del Bosco.
