Information
Visiting the Museum of Peasant Civilization and Popular Traditions of Motta Montecorvino means immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the rural villages of the past centuries, the everyday life in the fields, the traditions and rituals that followed the cycles of the seasons. The rich collection on display tells us, thanks to historical testimonies and finds related to agricultural life, how society, economy, customs and customs of the Monti Dauni were, when most of their inhabitants were dedicated to the care of the fields.
Inside the museum you can admire objects and tools, related to agricultural and pastoral tasks, but also tools of work of craftsmen and faithful reconstructions of domestic environments, such as the kitchen or the bedroom.
