Information
The peculiarity of this museum is to have two thematic areas, representative of the territorial resources: archaeological and natural heritage.
The Museum hosts: an archaeological section, with an exhibition of finds from the sixth century B.C. to the fifth century A.D. found in the necropolis of masseria Festa and in the necropolis of Vigna Masci; a naturalistic section with dioramas that return typical habitats of the Dauni Mountains. In addition to guided tours, the structure also offers archaeology and environmental education workshops, both indoor with the use of new technology equipment, and outdoor, exploring ecosystems such as the forest and the creek.
