Information
Volturara boasts numerous important historical buildings. Among this particular importance is the Palace which was also the seat of the Episcopal Curia.
The enormous building today has a neoclassical façade on three levels, characterized by two orders: on the first floor there are ionic semicolonns, on the second composite paraste. The inside of the palace, of private property, is not today visitable. However, often the door of the right wing is left open, letting the passer-by see the beautiful inner courtyard with a magnificent arched staircase.
