Information
The small bridge consists of a single round arch and has a height of about 7 meters. The structure at the base is in light stone, while the rest of the building is in ochre red brick, alternating with river pebbles arranged according to the "opus Quadratum".
The bridge is now in a precarious state of conservation and is completely devoid of the side straps, which collapsed over time. In all probability the bridge stood along the Roman Way called "Valeria Seconda" that connected the Castrum Sentianum (the Roman settlement located near the present Deliceto), to the Via Traiana.
To the south or west in Cavallerizza, about a kilometre away, there is another Roman bridge and near it a fortified farm.
